Getting the Heat Right

The Build: Quartz and Connectors
We stick with high-purity quartz glass. Why? Because annealing cycles are brutal, and you need something that won’t crack under thermal shock. Depending on what kind of glass you’re running, we can do clear or coated tubes. The coated ones are great if you need the heat to penetrate deeper into the glass surface. As for the fit? The Real Talk on Customization
Here’s the deal: to hit a 7-day turnaround, we have to lock in the specs. Once we agree on the length and wattage, we can’t change them. If we do, the clock resets. And a bit of honest advice: while these lamps perform just like the OEM versions, pushing them to their absolute thermal limit will wear out the filament faster. If you can, leave about a 10% overhead in your cooling system. It keeps the ambient heat from building up too much around those high-density arrays, which stops the lamp ends from overheating and failing. It’s a simple tweak that makes your gear last a lot longer.
