Electricity hits the filament, and it throws off infrared heat that lands directly on people and surfaces. No heating the air. That means the warmth shows up almost instantly. You flip the switch, and boom—heat. But with that kind of power density, you do need to plan for the heat it puts out. Make sure your install has decent airflow or the right spacing. Give it room to breathe, and it’ll keep running steady.
Built tough where it counts
We wrap the halogen element in a quartz tube. Quartz handles the shock of rapid on/off cycles without cracking, and it shrugs off corrosion. Inside, halogen gas protects the filament, so the heater stays consistent and lasts longer. The waterproof coating? This isn’t just for looks. It’s a fully sealed barrier that keeps moisture out, so the electronics and the tube stay safe. And for the electrical connection, we use an R7s connector—secure, rated for high temps, and easy to service when you’re on the floor.
