Material & Design: Built for the Elements
The heating element itself is a quartz tube, filled with halogen gas. Quartz can handle extreme heat and sudden temperature shifts without cracking, so the heater can power up and cool down quickly and safely. The halogen gas cycle protects the filament, keeping output steady and the whole thing running for thousands of hours. Then there are the connectors—rated for industrial use. The R7s base is a double-ended, heavy-duty connection made for high heat and high current. It stays tight, resists vibration, and won’t arc under the load.
